A Little Something About Me

Hello, I am Ruchelle Mendes, a Registered Provisional Psychologist and owner of Revival Psychology.

I began this journey of helping others in 2014, from working front line in the human services field to branching out to counselling children, adolescents and adults. My passion lies in helping and supporting individuals regardless of race, sexual orientation, culture, gender and ability, overcome life’s different challenges. I believe healing and growth can take place in relationship with others; when provided in a warm, empathetic and compassionate environment.

I approach counselling in a collaborative manner and tailor my treatment plan based on your needs, by understanding how your experiences and environments have influenced your beliefs and shaped your lives.

I am passionate about working with immigrants and helping them through life transitions as they get situated in a new country. As a BIPOC therapist and an immigrant to Canada, I understand the difficulties with assimilation and forming your own identity in a new country.

If you would like to discuss the services I offer please feel free to contact me via email or phone. I also offer free 15 minute consultations to determine if we are a good fit for one another.

I look forward to working with you.
